Job Title: M&E Director / Senior M&E Manager
Location: Oxfordshire
Salary: £70,000 - £80,000 + Profit Share
Type: Permanent, Full-Time

Overview

We're working with a well-respected family-run M&E contractor based in Oxfordshire, known for delivering high-quality projects across the commercial and industrial sectors. As part of a long-term succession plan, they're looking for a seasoned M&E Director or Senior M&E Manager to join the business and take on a key leadership role.

With the current Director planning to gradually step back over the next 2-3 years, this role offers a clear path to leading the company - with remote support available during the transition. It's a hands-on leadership role, suited to someone who enjoys working closely with clients and teams to deliver first-class results.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee full M&E project delivery from tender to handover

  • Manage commercial fit-outs, retail units, and industrial projects (typically £500k+)

  • Provide technical direction across electrical, air conditioning, and ventilation systems

  • Build strong relationships with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors

  • Support junior staff and ensure delivery standards remain high

  • Help shape the future of the business alongside the current Director

Ideal Candidate

  • Proven experience in a senior M&E leadership role

  • Strong technical background in electrical and air conditioning systems

  • Working knowledge of ventilation and general building services

  • Experience delivering commercial, retail, and industrial projects

  • Ability to manage multiple projects and teams simultaneously

  • Commercially aware with a clean or near-clean driving licence
