About the school

Waverley Education Foundation (WEF) is a multi-academy trust with two "Good OFSTED rated" schools: Waverley School (all-through) and Waverley Studio College (14-19). The campus is located at Yardley Green Road, Bordesley Green East, Birmingham B9 5QA.

• Contract: Permanent
• Hours: 12.5 hours per week (Monday-Friday 11:00 a.m. - 1:30 p.m.)
• Salary: Approximately £7,459 per year
• Start date: ASAP
• Location: Yardley Green Road, Birmingham

Responsibilities

• Supervise pupils during lunch in the dining area and playground spaces.
• Support pupils in following school routines and procedures during lunchtime.
• Act as a positive role model, demonstrating reliability, commitment and dedication.
• Help pupils develop personal and social skills and wellbeing.
• Collate and report any incidents or concerns to designated staff.

Qualifications & requirements

• Excellent spoken English and ability to communicate clearly.
• Previous experience working with children is an advantage but not essential.
• Ability to work as part of a team and remain flexible with working hours.
• Must meet Part 7 of the Immigration Act (2016) requirements and possess an enhanced DBS check.
