Tradewind Recruitment is currently recruiting reliable and enthusiastic Lunchtime Supervisors to support a range of friendly and welcoming schools across Kettering. This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals who enjoy working with children and want to play an important role in ensuring pupils have a safe, happy, and enjoyable lunchtime experience.

The Role

As a Lunchtime Supervisor, your responsibilities will include:

• Supervising pupils during lunch breaks in the dining hall and outdoor play areas.
• Encouraging positive behaviour and promoting respectful interactions between pupils.
• Supporting children with their lunchtime routines where required.
• Ensuring the safety and wellbeing of all pupils throughout the lunch period.
• Assisting with minor first aid incidents and reporting any concerns to school staff.
• Helping to create a positive, inclusive, and enjoyable lunchtime environment.

Ideal Candidate

• Enjoy working with children and young people.
• Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Are patient, approachable, and reliable.
• Can confidently manage groups of children in a calm and positive manner.
• Are able to work effectively as part of a school team.
• Hold, or are willing to obtain, an enhanced DBS check.
