Lunchtime Supervisor - 10 hours per week

Overview

Term Time Only (worked over 5 days Monday to Friday) 11:45am to 1:45pm daily. Permanent contract. We require, to start from September 2026, an enthusiastic lunchtime supervisor.

Responsibilities

• Attend to lunchtime supervision, supporting children in the hall as they eat.
• Encourage and monitor play among groups of children at playtime.
• Supervise children in classrooms during adverse weather.
• Support safeguarding and promote the welfare of children in line with school policy.

Requirements / Qualifications

• Term-time only role with a daily schedule from 11:45am to 1:45pm, Monday to Friday.
• Commitment to safeguarding and welfare of children.
• The post is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974; pre-employment checks will be carried out, references will be sought and verified, and candidates will undergo online checks and an enhanced DBS check with statutory checks where applicable.
