Learning Support Assistant (LSA) / Nursery Practitioner - Full-Time & Part-Time Roles Available
Location: Southampton
Start Date: Immediate or September
Primary schools and early years settings across Southampton are seeking enthusiastic and caring Learning Support Assistants (LSAs) and Nursery Practitioners to join their teams. We have a range of full-time and part-time opportunities available, with immediate and September start dates.

About the RoleDepending on your role, you will:
- Provide one-to-one support and work with small groups of children
- Support teachers or nursery staff in delivering engaging, age-appropriate activities
- Assist children with additional needs, including SEN
- Help create a safe, positive, and stimulating environment
- Support children's social, emotional, and academic development
- Observe and monitor progress, providing feedback to staff
- A Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Childcare, Early Years, or Supporting Teaching & Learning (preferred)
- Experience working with children or young people (desirable but not essential)
- A patient, caring, and flexible approach
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- A genuine passion for supporting children's growth and development

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
