BBC Group and Public Services in London is seeking a Journalist for BBC Monitoring to report on China with native Mandarin and English output. BBC Monitoring analyzes open source media from over 150 countries in more than 70 languages and shares insights with BBC platforms and clients.

Based in London with hybrid working (minimum 2 days weekly), you will monitor Chinese media daily, produce output in BBC formats, mentor freelancers, and develop data-led storytelling while upholding BBC values
