Job Description- Contract Type: Permanent / 40hours per week
- Salary: £28,177- increasing to £29,677 on completion of relevant MHE training
- Hours of Work: 08:00 to 16:30
- Days of Work: Monday to Friday
DPD Logistics are a fulfilment warehouse; we hold stock for a number of key customers at our site in Tamworth and as a Logistics Operative you will be required to pick and pack to meet consumer demand. This is a fast paced, physical role and you will be on your feet all shift but as a warehouse operative you will be the backbone of our logistics operation playing an important role in DPD continuing to deliver outstanding service.
- Loading and unloading, scanning, picking and packing parcels with precision.
- Handling items up to 25kg.
- Using our tech to ensure every parcel gets to the right place at the right time.
- Operation of different Material Handling Equipment (MHE) to including Counter Balance, Flexi trucks and Man riders.
