Logistics Executive

By joining AJW Group, you will become part of a world-leading independent specialist in the supply, exchange, maintenance, repair, and lease of commercial and business aircraft spare parts. As a Logistics Executive, you will be working with our customers both internationally and domestically to ensure that the consignments are delivered in full on time, every time.

You'll join a large logistics team of 25 people within a global organisation of 500. The logistics team provides a collaborative atmosphere, where you can continue to learn and specialise in logistics within a fast-paced environment, supported by people that are true specialists. This role is on-site at our HQ in Slinfold.

This role is day shift 4 on 4 off, 7am - 7pm on a 12 month fixed term contract.

What you will be doing

• Exceed customer expectations and meet requirements through the global shipping

• You'll research and use the most economical and fast-paced methods of moving consignments globally

• Decide the best method of shipping

• Complete compliance documents

• Negotiating the cost of shipping

• Consider handling, labelling, and shipping dangerous goods

• Collaborating with internal departments to achieve department and company goals, in particular, the warehouse to ensure that no interruptions happen in the customer journey

• Meeting set company goals

About you

• Strong organisational and problem solving skills

• Good communication and teamwork

• Ability to manage tasks independently

• Comfortable handling documentation and following processes

• Motivated, reliable, and goal driven

Desirable:

• Experience in a fast paced or operational role

• Familiarity with global teams

• Background in logistics or supply chain
