Locum Stroke Consultant Required In South West England, Great Earning Potential

On behalf of a great hospital based in South West England, I'm looking for an experienced Stroke Consultant who could join the friendly department for up to 6 months' service with a possible extension.

Position Details:

This is a locum position of set duration with potential for extension.

Workload & Required Experience:

1. Manage ward patients on the Hyperacute Stroke Unit (HASU) and Acute Stroke Unit (ASU), including TIA clinics.
2. Respond to thrombolysis and thrombectomy calls, and support bi-weekly Consultant Board Rounds at the Stroke Sub-Acute Rehabilitation Units.
3. Experience and competence with thrombolysis and thrombectomy referrals are essential.
4. The on-call schedule is approximately 1 in 10 weekdays and 1 in 10 weekends.
5. Location is very accessible via public transport or car.
6. Affordable accommodation can be arranged.

Compensation:

Negotiable pay terms, depending on experience.
