Locum Specialty Registrar (SPR) in Obstetrics & Gynaecology

We are currently recruiting for a Locum Specialty Registrar (SPR) in Obstetrics & Gynaecology to join a busy NHS Trust on an agency locum basis. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced doctor to work within a supportive multidisciplinary team, providing high-quality obstetric and gynaecological care.

Essential Requirements
  • GMC registration with a licence to practise.
  • Certificate of Eligibility for Locum Appointment (CELA/CEL) or equivalent eligibility to work at SPR level.
  • MRCOG Part 1 and Part 2 successfully completed.
  • Minimum 2 years' NHS experience in Obstetrics & Gynaecology.
  • Demonstrable experience working at Registrar level within the NHS.
  • Full right to work in the UK.
  • Strong clinical, communication, and team-working skills.
  • Ability to commence employment ASAP.
Key Responsibilities
  • Provide day and night cover for Obstetrics & Gynaecology services.
  • Assess, diagnose, and manage patients in both inpatient and outpatient settings.
  • Participate in labour ward, emergency gynaecology, antenatal, and postnatal care.
  • Support consultants and junior medical staff in delivering safe and effective patient care.
  • Maintain accurate clinical records and comply with NHS governance standards.
