Locum Lawyer - Housing, Homelessness & Civil Litigation
3-Month Contract Hybrid Working Kent (Nr Maidstone)
An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Locum Lawyer to join a busy and supportive legal team on an initial 3-month contract.
You will manage a varied caseload focusing on Housing and Homelessness Law, alongside general civil litigation matters, providing high-quality legal advice and representation to internal clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing a caseload of housing, homelessness and litigation matters.
- Providing practical legal advice to clients and stakeholders.
- Drafting legal documents, pleadings and correspondence.
- Advising on policies, procedures and governance requirements.
- Supporting the wider legal team to deliver an efficient and professional service.
About You
- Qualified Solicitor, Barrister or FCILEx with a current practising certificate.
- Experience handling housing and homelessness matters within local government or a similar environment.
- Confident managing your own caseload with minimal supervision.
- Strong drafting, communication and stakeholder management skills.
