Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and experienced General Practitioner to join our team on a temporary basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality medical care to patients, diagnosing and treating a wide range of illnesses and injuries, and prescribing medications and other treatments as required.

Key Responsibilities

• Conducting patient consultations and examinations
• Diagnosing and treating acute and chronic illnesses and injuries
• Prescribing medications and other treatments as required
• Referring patients to specialists for further evaluation and treatment
• Maintaining accurate medical records
• Participating in the on-call rota as required

Skills

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong clinical skills and medical knowledge
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team
• Good organizational and time management skills
• Flexibility and adaptability

Qualifications

• Medical degree from a recognized institution
• Current registration with the Irish Medical Council
• Experience working as a General Practitioner in Ireland
• Relevant postgraduate qualifications and training
