Locum General Surgery Consultant - Emergency & Teaching Lead

Barking Havering and Redbridge University Hospitals NHS Trust expects the appointee to be proficient in laparoscopic and general surgery, contributing to the emergency general surgery service and weekends on call rota 1:11. The post includes teaching duties and involvement in clinical governance of general surgery.

The Consultant will work with a team consisting of a middle-grade surgeon and shared juniors at FY1/FY2/FY3/CTs and Clinical Fellow level, with crosscover for leave by junior doctors.
