Locum Consultant Stroke Medicine - 6 Months

National Locums are working on behalf on of an NHS trust based in Hampshire looking for a locum Consultant in Stroke Medicine.

The Medicine department based in an NHS trust in Hampshire are looking for a locum Consultant in Stroke Medicine to start as soon as possible for 6 months in the first instance.

This is a full-time post covering Monday - Friday, 07:00-17:00. In addition to the usual rota, the expectation is the Consultant will cover a 1:20 weekend on-call rota from Friday 20:00 until Monday 08:00 as well as 1:4/5 weekday cover consisting of Monday evenings every 4/5 weeks.

Experience of working in a Stroke unit that has an MT (Mechanical Thrombectomy) service is essential.

You must hold full the following in order to be considered:

• GMC license to practise.
• Specialist Registration is desired.
• Experience with Mechanical Thrombectomy service
• Full right to work.
• Minimum 12 months NHS experience in Stroke Medicine
