Job Description
Locum Consultant in Reproductive Medicine

The closing date is 21 April 2026.

Applications are invited for the post of Locum Consultant in Reproductive Medicine at Cambridge IVF, Kefford House, Maris Lane, Cambridge CB2 9LG and Addenbrooke's Hospital, Cambridge. This post is for 6 months commencing ASAP.

Main duties of the job

The majority of the work will comprise informal discussions with patients prior to treatment, consultations and diagnosis.

Qualifications

You will be fully registered with the GMC and ideally have a CCT in Obstetrics & Gynaecology or be within six months of award of CCT at the time of interview. Applications are welcomed from those unable to work full time for personal reasons or those wishing to job-share.

Professional background and attributes

The applicant must have demonstrable skills in listening, reading, writing and speaking in English that enable effective communication about medical topics with patients and colleagues, as set out in the GMC's Good Medical Practice (2013). Non-UK applicants must possess the IELTS/OET exam before obtaining a GMC licence to practice.
