Job Description

Locum Consultant in Cardiothoracic Radiology

To help with the reporting of cross-sectional images performed on the new NAETOM Alpha CT scanner at the CDC
To contribute to the high-quality Consultant-led diagnostic imaging service at Barts and The Royal London Hospitals
To contribute to supporting the need for an ILS trained radiologist at the CDC covering the contrast administration in case of a contrast reaction
To contribute to the specialist MDTs on a roster with subspecialist colleagues
To join the general on-call service 1 in 20 with SPR cover on site
To always adhere to the appropriate clinical and quality standards
To liaise effectively and on a timely basis with colleagues, general practitioners community services, and all healthcare agencies
To maintain and promote team and multi-disciplinary work
To participate fully in the management of the Departments and to liaise closely with the respective clinical and academic group director and General Manager
