Currently, we have an excellent opportunity for a Consultant Radiologist with a specialist interest in Breast Imaging to join an established imaging service in Derby and Burton.
This is a two-year fixed-term consultant appointment supporting imaging services across two major acute hospital sites. The successful candidate will work alongside an established team of specialist radiologists, providing high-quality diagnostic imaging expertise across the service.
The role offers an opportunity to develop and utilise specialist expertise in Breast Imaging within a busy multidisciplinary environment.
Salary: £113,565-£150,569 per annum

Hours: Full-time, 10 programmed activities per week; part-time arrangements may be considered
Setting: NHS Acute Hospital / Secondary Care - Radiology
Location: Derby and Burton upon Trent, East Midlands
Contract: 2-year Fixed Term
Your key responsibilities will be;- Provide high-quality diagnostic radiology services across established acute hospital sites.
- Deliver specialist expertise in Breast Imaging.
- Work collaboratively with specialist radiology colleagues and multidisciplinary teams.
- Contribute to diagnostic imaging services across two major hospital sites.
- Participate in relevant clinical meetings and multidisciplinary decision-making.
- Support high-quality, patient-centred imaging pathways.
- Contribute to the continued development of specialist imaging services.
- FRCR or equivalent qualification.
- Full GMC registration with a licence to practise.
- Consultant-level experience in General Radiology.
- Specialist interest and experience in Breast Imaging.
- Ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary teams.
