Qualifications- Full GMC Registration
- License to practise in the UK, eligible for inclusion in the GMC Specialist Register.
- UK trained clinicians with evidence of higher specialist training leading to CCT, or within 6 months of confirmed entry from interview date.
- Portfolio Pathway (CESR) route doctors eligible once awarded a substantive consultant post.
- Non UK applicants must demonstrate equivalent training.
Locum Consultant Anaesthetist - 12 month contract (maternity cover) at the Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh.
Additional sub specialty interests in Obstetric Anaesthesia, Pain Medicine and Regional Anaesthesia are particularly welcome. The final job plan will be agreed with the successful candidate and will include at least one SPA.
DepartmentThe Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh has a large anaesthetic department that has recently become ACSA accredited and has close links with the University of Edinburgh Department of Anaesthesia, Critical Care and Pain Medicine. Opportunities exist for teaching, research and quality improvement work.
