Indicative job plan (10 PAs) The detailed timetable will depend on the appointee's subspecialty interest and departmental need, but an indicative job plan may include:

  • Ward/ACCU weeks (approx. 6 per year): AM: ACCU/ward rounds including PTWR (DCC); PM: Ward reviews and board rounds (DCC); Weekend: Participation in ACCU/post take ward rounds per rota (on call supplement applies)
  • Off ward weeks (indicative): 2 PAs
  • Outpatient clinics (General/Heart Failure/Arrhythmia/Imaging) 23 PAs
  • Subspecialty sessions (Cath lab, pacing list, imaging, or device clinic) 0.51 PA
  • A&G/RAS triage and MDT meetings 1.5 SPAs
  • Teaching, supervision, CPD, audit, QI, and governance Remainder: Admin and on call session in lieu
  • Final job plan to be agreed with the Clinical Director after appointment.
