Local Application Lead (Contract) - Amsterdam

Are you an experienced Application Manager/Lead with a passion for integrations, data flows, and leading transformation workstreams?

For a good FMCG client, we're looking for someone who can drive the remediation and integration of several local applications into a new enterprise digital landscape.

What you'll do

• Lead the remediation and activation of local transactional and BI applications
• Ensure applications follow modern integration standards (API/event-based)
• Coordinate activities through design, build, testing, and cutover
• Oversee data readiness, cleansing needs, and test preparation
• Support integration testing, E2E testing, and UAT
• Manage cutover readiness and contribute to a smooth go-live
• Act as the key local point of contact for IT, business stakeholders, and vendors
• Support interface mapping and the definition of future integration flows
• Track progress, highlight risks, and provide clear status updates

What you bring

• Experience in application integration, remediation, or migration projects
• Strong understanding of interfaces, APIs, and data flows
• Ability to coordinate across multiple teams in a complex program
• Excellent communication, prioritization, and issue-management skills
• Hands-on, structured, and delivery-oriented way of working
• Comfortable working in matrixed, cross-functional environments
