Main focus is the negotiation for Spain Country of Business applications and IT service contracts applying T&C's with latest provisions regarding Security, Data Privacy and Compliance.
The mission of the Local Account is to provide the Senior Finance and the management team with reliable, useful and timely financial information for decision-making and management control.
As a Local Account your main responsibilities will involve:
- Coordinator of local procurement and back-office services
- Account payables operations, in compliance with company policies, Spanish GAAP and IFRS regulation
- Asset accounting
- Correct maintenance and update of mandatory tax registers (VAT register, Asset register)
- Treasury support: management of payment requests and cash collection
- Tax support: collect and provide evidence and analysis for the tax consultant
As a local Account your skills and qualifications will ideally include:
- At least 4 years of relevant experience
- Economic degreee
- Fluent English and Spanish, another European language is a plus
- ERP experience, ideally in SAP and Tagetik
- Good command of Microsoft Excel
- Problem-solving and analytical skillset
- Communication skills and ability to manage a wide array of different stakeholders
- Strong operational focus, ability to drive topics and deliver results
- Attention / focused on correct information and details .
- Ability to present results clearly and to the point
