About this job

You'll begin your journey in one of our branches, providing face to face support to our customers.

You'll learn, grow and develop within an inclusive organisation with genuine values focussed on putting people first making a difference to customers, businesses and communities.

Over time, there will be opportunities to transition into a range of roles such as helping customers over the phone from home or continuing to deliver outstanding service remotely via social media, web chat and remote video calls.

Grow Your Career with Our Skill Progression Framework - We believe in building strong foundations. We ask all new colleagues to spend a minimum of 12 months in a customer service role, mastering new skills, dealing with more complex customer needs, and earning valuable accreditations through our Skill Progression Framework.

Once you've built that foundation, we'll support you in exploring a wide range of career opportunities across the Group in more specialist areas including Digital, Operations, Fraud and Financial Planning, and opportunities to move into leadership roles.

What we're looking for

One year's Customer Service experience and a people person mindset.

  • You bring honesty, genuine care and a passion for helping people with their finances (no previous financial services experience required).
  • You can quickly build relationships to give customers a fantastic experience.
  • You show empathy, acting with care and integrity, taking time to resolve queries and building confidence in the service you provide.
  • You are committed to delivering on promises and going above and beyond for customers.
  • You collaborate closely with colleagues to ensure customers' needs are met.

If located in a hybrid location, you will need to meet homeworking criteria, such as a quiet private room at home and stable internet connection.

About Working for Us

Our focus is to ensure we're inclusive every day, building an organisation that reflects modern society and celebrates diversity in all its forms.

We're disability confident. If you need reasonable adjustments to our recruitment processes, just let us know.
