Join our dedicated Family Safeguarding Team in Liverpool as an Advanced Practitioner (AP) and make a meaningful impact in the lives of vulnerable families. We are seeking a qualified professional with a passion for child welfare and safeguarding to provide high-quality support and intervention. This role offers a competitive rate of £39 per hour (Umbrella) and an opportunity to work within a dynamic and supportive environment.
Responsibilities- Conducting comprehensive assessments and developing tailored support plans for families.
- Providing expert advice and guidance to social work staff, ensuring best practices in safeguarding.
- Leading case reviews and participating in multi-agency meetings to coordinate effective interventions.
- Mentoring and supervising less experienced practitioners to enhance their professional development.
- Ensuring compliance with local and national safeguarding policies and legislation.
- A recognized social work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent).
- Current Social Work England registration.
- Significant experience in child protection and family safeguarding.
- Strong analytical and assessment skills, with the ability to make sound decisions under pressure.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a collaborative approach to working with families and agencies.
