Job Title: Commercial / Civil Litigation SolicitorGreater ManchesterFull-Time PermanentCompetitive Salary + BonusI am currently working with a well-established and highly respected regional law firm in Greater Manchester that is looking to recruit a Commercial / Civil Litigation Solicitor to join its busy dispute resolution team.This is an excellent opportunity for a driven and commercially minded solicitor who is keen to handle a broad and high-quality caseload while progressing within a supportive and ambitious firm.The RoleYou will manage your own varied caseload of commercial and civil litigation matters, with appropriate supervision depending on your level of experience. The team handles a wide range of disputes for both businesses and individuals.Matters will include:
- Contractual disputes
- Shareholder and partnership disputes
- Debt recovery and enforcement action
- Property litigation (including landlord and tenant disputes)
- Professional negligence claims
- General commercial disputes
- Contentious probate (desirable but not essential)
- You will have conduct of files from initial instruction through to trial, including drafting pleadings, witness statements, applications, and settlement negotiations.
About You:
- Qualified Solicitor (NQ - 5 years PQE considered)
- Experience handling commercial and/or civil litigation matters
- Confident managing your own caseload
- Strong drafting and advocacy skills
- Commercially aware with a pragmatic approach to dispute resolution
- Excellent client care and communication skills
