A well-established and well-regarded Cheltenham law firm is looking to appoint an experienced Litigator to join its thriving Dispute Resolution team. The firm seeks a commercially astute solicitor with broad experience across matters such as contractual and commercial Disputes, Property Litigation, Professional Negligence, Contentious Probate, and Debt Recovery.
What the Firm Expect- Minimum 3 years' PQE
- Demonstrable ability to handle a busy, varied litigation caseload independently
- Strong grounding in the full litigation lifecycle, including pre-action work, pleadings, disclosure, ADR, and trial preparation
- Providing strategic advice to a varied client base, including companies, trusts, charities, and private individuals
- Managing cases from first instruction through to final resolution, shaping litigation strategy and guiding clients at every stage
- Liaising with and instructing counsel where appropriate
- Advocating for clients in court hearings, mediations, and settlement discussions
- Flexible approach to remuneration, with the ability to put together an attractive package for the right individual
- Hybrid working (typically three office days and two from home)
- A clearly mapped progression structure, offering genuine prospects for advancement and leadership
- The opportunity to work towards equity participation at Partnership level
- Sensible and manageable billing expectations (around five chargeable hours per day)
