Liquidlogic & Controcc Consultant
Location: Nottingham
Rate: £500 per day (Inside IR35)
Contract Length: 3-6 months initial, likely extension to 12 months
Working Pattern: 2-3 days onsite initially, with potential to move to mostly remote once established
We are seeking an experienced Systems Subject Matter Expert with deep expertise in both Liquidlogic and Controcc to support a public sector organisation in Nottingham. This is a hands-on contract role focused on system configuration, development, optimisation and ongoing maintenance.
The successful contractor will act as the go-to technical specialist across both platforms, ensuring stability, performance and alignment with business and finance requirements.
Key Responsibilities

Act as SME for Liquidlogic and Controcc systems

Configure, develop and maintain system functionality

Support system enhancements, upgrades and optimisation work

Ensure integration and alignment between Liquidlogic and Controcc

Work closely with finance and operational teams to translate requirements into technical solutions

Troubleshoot system issues and implement sustainable fixes

Provide documentation and knowledge transfer where required

Support data integrity, reporting and compliance requirements
Essential Skills and Experience

Proven expertise in Liquidlogic system configuration and development

Strong working knowledge of Controcc finance system

Experience working within public sector environments

Hands-on experience maintaining and enhancing live enterprise systems

Strong stakeholder engagement skills across technical and non-technical teams

Ability to work autonomously and take ownership of system performance
Desirable

Experience in local government settings

Understanding of social care systems and financial integrations

Experience supporting system migrations or transformation projects
This role would suit a contractor who can quickly embed into the team, build trust on site initially and then operate with a high degree of autonomy.
