Line Manager - Newcastle West

We are seeking to appoint a Line Manager responsible for supporting and leading a department and a team to deliver the best shopping experience for our customers. Reporting to the Deputy Manager, you will ensure we serve Ireland's shoppers a little better every day.

You will be responsible for:

• Creating an inspiring and welcoming environment for colleagues and customers
• Being responsible for the store when the Store Manager/Deputy Manager are not present
• Ensuring your team is fully trained and validated in their roles
• Fostering two-way communication and a culture of trust
• Coaching colleagues to deliver daily priorities and meet customer needs
• Reviewing reports and systems to implement improvements
• Driving a culture of zero food waste by managing date codes and food safety
• Recruiting passionate colleagues who prioritize customer service
• Understanding and delivering cleaning standards
• Managing stock control, warehouse layout, and routines
• Root causing pricing errors, overcharges, refunds, and label routines
• Managing front-end operations to minimize queues
• Recognizing excellent service and providing feedback

You will need:

• A demonstrated track record in delivering excellent customer and colleague experiences
• Adaptability and agility in your thinking
• Experience in fast-paced retail environments
• Ability to be the 'Go To' person for your department
• Leadership and influencing skills at senior levels
• Previous retail experience in a similar role (preferred)
