Job Description

Lifts Contracts Manager needed in West London Paying £36.59 per hr ref

Full time hours on a temporarybasis

  • Key Responsibilities Contract Management
    • Manage lift maintenance, repair, and servicing contracts to ensure contractual and statutory compliance.
    • Monitor contractor performance through regular reviews, audits, and KPI reporting.
    • Lead monthly contract performance meetings and oversee service improvement plans.
    • Support procurement activities, including tender preparation, specification development, and contract mobilisation.
    • Administer service agreements, schedules, specifications, invoices, and contract documentation.
    Compliance and Resident Safety
    • Ensure compliance with all relevant legislation and industry regulations, including LOLER and PUWER.
    • Manage and monitor lift inspection programmes and ensure defects are addressed within agreed timescales.
    • Maintain accurate compliance records and certification.
    • Provide technical advice on legislative changes and their impact on service delivery.
    • Support health and safety compliance and resident safety objectives.
    Technical and Asset Management
    • Monitor the condition and performance of lifts, hoists, and associated equipment.
    • Support the development and implementation of Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) programmes.
    • Assist with lift replacement and capital improvement projects.
    • Conduct condition assessments and support stock condition surveys.
    • Identify recurring maintenance issues and implement effective corrective actions.
    Financial Management
    • Monitor and control servicing, maintenance, and repair budgets.
    • Scrutinise contractor invoices and payment applications.
    • Produce financial reports and forecasts relating to contract expenditure.
    • Ensure value for money is achieved across all service contracts.
    Performance Reporting
    • Produce monthly KPI and compliance reports.
    • Provide statistical analysis relating to maintenance activities, inspections, repairs, and contract performance.
    • Maintain accurate databases and information systems.
    • Report on risks, trends, and recommendations for service improvement.
    Stakeholder Engagement
    • Liaise with residents, contractors, consultants, suppliers, and internal teams.
    • Manage complaints and enquiries relating to lift services.
    • Build effective working relationships with procurement, compliance, technical, and operational teams.
    • Support resident engagement initiatives and ensure high standards of customer service.
