Job Description

The Role:

We are looking for an experienced LGV Driver to join our team based out of BOC Wolverhampton. This is roamer role that will require you sleeping in the unit away from home 5 shifts a week, with day & night working. Shift patterns currently will rotate over a Monday to Friday day shift or a Monday night to a Saturday Morning night shift and start times will vary. This is a PERMANENT position where you will work around 50 plus hours per week.

You will be responsible for delivering products to our customers across the country on our BOC contract. This role involves moving compressed gas cylinders between the BOC Site and driving a counterbalance FLT to load and unload your vehicle, full training will be provided.

Pay & Benefits
  • £17.02 per hour
  • Plus, Overtime between 25.53 to £34.03 per hour
  • Plus, Daily Overnight Payment of £42.21 per night away from home
  • Plus, Weekly Night Shift Allowance £56.23
  • Plus, Weekly Roamer Flexibility payment of £106.09

Essential Requirements:
  • A safety minded focus.
  • An LGV Class 1 licence with no more than three points
  • A tachograph cards.
  • A Driver CPC (Certificate of Professional Competence)
  • A valid ADR licence all classes including package goods other than 1 & 7 is desirable.
  • A strong understanding of Driver Transport Legislation
  • Minimum 3 years Class 1 experience
Desirable Requirements:
  • Counterbalance FLT experience, albeit full training will be delivered irrespectively.
