Brierley Hill Primary School is currently a CUSP Lead School for Early Years and is working towards joining the wider CUSP Lead School network across the full curriculum by the summer term.

The Role

Level 3 staff work under the guidance of teaching staff with a limited degree of autonomy. NVQ 3 or equivalent is a requirement. This role requires specific skills and experience. Key features include implementing agreed work programmes with individuals/groups and supporting teaching staff in the development and education of pupils, providing detailed and specialist skills/knowledge in particular areas. The role also involves assisting the teacher in the whole planning cycle and supervising whole classes or groups during short-term absences.
