Up to £25k to £31k Salary available

Are you a qualified Early Years professional looking for a rewarding role within a supportive nursery environment? We are currently recruiting for a Level 3 Nursery Teaching Assistant to join a well-established nursery setting in Eastbourne on a full-time, temp-to-perm basis.

This is an excellent opportunity to become part of a dedicated team that is committed to providing high-quality care and education for young children. The successful candidate will initially join on a temporary basis, with the opportunity to secure a permanent contract following a successful 12 week period.

The Role

• Supporting children aged 0-5 with their learning, development, and daily routines.
• Delivering engaging activities in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
• Creating a safe, stimulating, and nurturing learning environment.
• Observing, monitoring, and recording children's progress and achievements.
• Building positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.
• Supporting children's social, emotional, and physical development.
• Ensuring safeguarding and nursery policies are followed at all times.

We Are Looking For

• A recognised Level 3 qualification in Childcare or Early Years.
• Previous experience working within a nursery or Early Years setting.
• Good knowledge of the EYFS framework and child development.
• A caring, enthusiastic, and proactive approach.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• An enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one).
