Tradewind Recruitment is currently recruiting Level 3 qualified Early Years Practitioners for opportunities across the London Borough of Islington.
We are working with a range of welcoming and well-established nurseries, primary schools and Early Years settings that are looking for enthusiastic, reliable and experienced practitioners to support children across the EYFS.
This is an excellent opportunity for Level 3 Early Years Practitioners, Nursery Nurses and Early Years Educators looking for regular work in supportive settings across Islington. Whether you're looking for day-to-day supply, a longer-term placement or your next permanent opportunity, we can offer roles based around your experience, availability and preferences.
The Role- Support children across the EYFS framework
- Deliver engaging and age-appropriate learning activities
- Support children's social, emotional and educational development
- Create a safe, nurturing and stimulating learning environment
- Encourage children's communication, confidence and independence
- Observe and assess children's progress
- Contribute to childrens learning journeys and development records
- Build positive relationships with children, parents and staff
- Work collaboratively with teachers and other Early Years professionals
- Follow safeguarding, health and safety and school policies

You will need:
- A recognised Level 3 Early Years qualification
- Recent experience working with children in an Early Years setting
- Good knowledge of the EYFS framework
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- A caring, patient and nurturing approach
- The ability to build positive relationships with young children
- Strong safeguarding awareness
- A professional, reliable and adaptable approach
- Availability for regular work
