A well established and welcoming pre school in Northampton is looking to recruit a caring and enthusiastic Level2 Early Years Practitioner to join their team from September2026. Responsibilities

• Assist with the delivery of engaging activities that support children's development across all areas of learning.
• Help create a positive and nurturing atmosphere where children can thrive.
• Support children's social, emotional, physical, and language development through play based learning.
• Contribute to observations and learning records in line with EYFS requirements.
• Encourage children to develop confidence, independence, and curiosity.
• Assist with daily routines, including snack times, personal care, and transitions throughout the day.
• Maintain high standards of safeguarding, health and safety, and wellbeing.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure the smooth running of the setting.

Qualifications

• Holds a recognised Level2 qualification in Childcare or Early Years.
• Has experience working with children in an early years setting, either through employment or placements.
• Demonstrates a good understanding of child development and early learning.
• Is warm, approachable, and passionate about supporting young children.
• Communicates effectively with children, parents, and colleagues.
• Works well as part of a team and is willing to learn from others.
• Shows commitment to providing high quality care and education.
