Our client is an established and successful environmental consultancy, who delivers a range of clean air services, repairs and validations to a mixed portfolio of contacts across the UK. They are currently recruiting for an experienced and P601 qualified LEV Engineer based in and around the Liverpool area. The successful candidate will have hands on experience in undertaking the testing, installation and maintenance of Local Exhaust Ventilation systems to a varied site base. Experience in testing Class 1, Class 2 and Class 3 fume cupboards and carrying out clean room validation would be beneficial to the role. Applications from Birkenhead, St Helens, Warrington, Runcorn and surrounding areas will be considered.
Qualifications & Experience- Minimum of the P601 certificate.
- Hands on experience undertaking the testing, installation and maintenance of L.E.V systems.
- Experience working on class 1, class 2 and class 3 fume cupboards.
- Experience carrying out clean room validations would be beneficial.
- Proven track record of producing technical service reports.
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
- Must be proficient in using the Microsoft Office Package.
- Undertake local exhaust ventilation (LEV) testing, validations and maintenance on a varied site base.
- Testing emissions, reviewing and approving assessments.
- Collate and produce technical reports.
- Provide a consultancy service to clients, advising on technical reports and further services.
- Undertake fume cupboard examinations.
- Carry out clean room validations.
- Visit sites designated by the client and deal with issues effectively.
- Ensure that all work is carried out in accordance with the Health & Safety procedures and legislation.
- Presentations to staff, company and contractors regarding occupational hygiene.
- Build and maintain a good rapport with clients.
