A successful Estate Agency is looking for an experienced Lettings Manager to join their Herne Bay office. This is a management-focused role for someone with strong lettings knowledge, excellent customer service skills and a proven ability to deliver results.

The successful Lettings Manager will lead and motivate the branch team, drive new business and oversee the lettings operation, while building strong relationships with landlords and tenants. You will be responsible for growing the branch, winning new instructions and ensuring a consistently high level of service.

What you'll be doing (Key Responsibilities) as a Lettings Manager:

• Lead, motivate and coach the branch team to achieve lettings targets and deliver excellent customer service
• Drive branch performance, profitability and business growth through effective sales and lettings strategies
• Generate new instructions by building relationships with landlords, prospecting and identifying new business opportunities
• Carry out valuations and provide landlords with expert advice on rental values, marketing and the lettings process
• Oversee the day-to-day lettings operation, ensuring properties are marketed effectively and enquiries are followed up promptly
• Develop strong relationships with landlords and tenants while maintaining high standards of service and compliance

What our client is looking for (Skills & Experience):

• Previous experience within residential lettings, ideally at Senior Negotiator, Assistant Manager or Lettings Manager level
• Proven track record of winning new instructions and generating lettings business
• Strong knowledge of the local rental market and current lettings practices
• Experience of leading, motivating and developing a team
• Excellent communication, negotiation and relationship-building skills
• Commercially minded with a strong focus on achieving targets and maximising revenue
• Highly organised, self-motivated and able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle
