Lettings Consultant

Salary: 27k with 33k OTE Location: Newark Contract: Permanent Schedule: Monday to Friday 9:00-5:30

An exciting opportunity for a motivated lettings negotiator to join our client in Newark. The role involves ensuring successful lettings and playing a key part in the business, maintaining compliance, and providing excellent customer service to landlords and tenants.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work collaboratively with the wider team to achieve successful lettings of their properties across the region
  • Manage applications from start to finish, ensuring full compliance with legal and regulatory requirements
  • Attend viewings and use excellent customer service to represent the company
  • Maintain clear and professional communication with landlords and tenants to facilitate smooth tenancy setups and build strong relationships
  • Ensure the property portfolio is well managed, with a particular focus on health and safety compliance
  • Coordinate, organise, and oversee repairs and maintenance for managed properties in a timely and efficient manner
  • Arrange and process property visits, check outs, and inventory reports, handling deposit disputes where required
  • Provide general administrative support and contribute to the smooth day to day running of the office
  • Follow company processes and maintain high professional standards
What we're looking for
  • Proven experience in lettings is desirable
  • A genuine interest and motivation to progress within the lettings industry
  • Strong knowledge of property compliance and safety regulations
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills, acting as a first point of contact for landlords and tenants
  • High level of attention to detail and strong organisational ability
  • Strong administrative, presentation, numerical, and IT skills
