Our business development and lettings team drive our business forward. They are fun, energetic, personable, and go-getters. They are responsible for finding new landlords, building relationships with them and helping Coapt become Brighton's best letting agent.

The ideal candidate will be working in lettings, ideally in a lister or senior negotiator role, with experience talking to and engaging with landlords. Knowledge of HMO legislation/requirements will also be a benefit.

What You'll Do:

  • Generate new business - identify opportunities, nurture relationships, and match our services to client needs.
  • Conduct rental valuations - provide expert advice on property positioning in the market.
  • Negotiate & close deals - ensuring clients achieve their investment goals.
  • Develop relationships - establish trust with landlords, investors, and property owners.
  • Maximise sales opportunities - using innovative strategies and industry expertise.
  • Driving growth - Implementing innovative strategies to expand our portfolio.

What We're Looking For:

  • A natural salesperson - Confident, persuasive, and results-driven.
  • Experienced in lettings or sales - Ideally with a background in property negotiations.
  • Target-focused & ambitious - Always looking for new opportunities and ways to excel.

The Details:

  • Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
  • Additional Pay: Bonuses & performance-related commission
  • Schedule: Monday-Friday (9am-5:30pm), one evening session, & 1 in 4 Saturdays (10am-4pm)
  • Location: In-person, Brighton
  • Requirement: Valid UK Driving Licence
