Job Description
Honeycomb is delighted to be partnering with a highly regarded and established law firm based in South Belfast in the search for a Litigation Legal Secretary to join their busy and growing litigation team.

The Opportunity

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Litigation Legal Secretary to join a well-respected firm with a strong presence in the Northern Ireland legal market. The successful candidate will provide comprehensive secretarial and administrative support to the Solicitor, assisting with a varied caseload of litigation matters. Previous experience working with High Court and County Court matters is essential.

Key Responsibilities

Preparing, formatting, and reviewing legal documents, court papers, and correspondence
Opening, maintaining, and closing litigation files in accordance with firm procedures
Audio typing and document production
Managing diaries, appointments, court dates, and key deadlines
Handling incoming calls, emails, and client enquiries in a professional manner
Providing administrative and secretarial support to Solicitors across a varied litigation caseload
Preparing and lodging documentation for High Court and County Court proceedings
Liaising with clients, Counsel, expert witnesses, the courts, and third parties
Managing legal documentation and ensuring compliance with court deadlines and procedural requirements
Ensuring all files are maintained accurately and in compliance with regulatory requirements

About You

Previous experience working within Litigation is essential
Excellent organisational skills with a high level of attention to detail
Strong audio typing and document production skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
Proficient in Microsoft Office and legal case management systems
Ability to manage a busy workload and prioritise effectively
Professional, proactive, and client-focused approach
