This is a fantastic opportunity to join a leading and established legal practice in a varied Legal Secretary position. Working closely with Solicitors within the Commercial Property & Banking Department, you will provide comprehensive legal secretarial and administrative support across a busy and fast-paced environment.

The role will suit an experienced Legal Secretary who is highly organised, detail-focused, and confident managing multiple priorities. Previous experience within Commercial Property and Banking would be highly advantageous, but not essential.

The Role
  • Providing comprehensive legal secretarial support to Solicitors within the Commercial Property & Banking Department
  • Transcribing digital dictation and preparing correspondence and legal documentation
  • Formatting, filing, and electronically storing documents on the firm's practice management system
  • Providing general administrative and invoicing support
  • Preparing and arranging the registration of Land Registry and Registry of Deeds documentation, including use of the Property Registration Authority website
  • Assisting with Requisitions on Title and scheduling title documents
  • Preparing Contracts for Sale and associated documentation
  • Preparing closing documentation, including Family Home and Section 72 Declarations
  • Providing occasional reception cover
  • Assisting with overflow secretarial work across the wider team as required
The Person
  • Minimum of two years' legal secretarial experience is essential
  • Previous Commercial Property and/or Banking experience would be highly advantageous
  • Experience working within a fast-paced professional or legal environment
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
  • Very strong IT and systems capability
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to plan, prioritise, and manage multiple activities simultaneously
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with Solicitors and colleagues at all levels
  • Proactive approach with the ability to use initiative and manage time efficiently
  • Strong digital dictation skills
  • Professional, reliable, and able to work effectively under pressure
