The Firm
A regional and highly established law firm based in Oxfordshire, ranked in the legal 500 directory offering a wide array of services to both individuals and businesses.
The Role
The Practice Director is accountable for improving the firm's financial performance, cash conversion, and operational efficiency. The role is focused on delivering measurable improvements in lock-up, billing discipline, and profitability, while implementing scalable processes to support growth.
This is not a traditional practice management role. It is a commercial operator position, reporting to the Managing Director and working alongside the Board. The right person will treat the firm's P&L as their own and be judged on outcomes, not activity.
The Practice Director also plays a key role in supporting the delivery of a consistent, high-quality client experience across the firm - ensuring that operational rigour translates into better service, not just better numbers.
About You
- At least 3 years experience, ideally 5, in a similar role as a legal practice manager
- Commercial minded and well driven to support the firms growth
- Great people manager
