About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Legal Manager to lead day-to-day legal functions including contracts, compliance, and risk advisory. The ideal candidate is commercially astute, well-versed in regulatory frameworks, and comfortable working with cross-functional teams in a dynamic, tech-enabled business environment.

Key Responsibilities

Contract Drafting & Negotiation

  • Draft, vet, and negotiate a variety of commercial contracts (MSAs, SaaS agreements, NDAs, vendor agreements, etc.)
  • Collaborate with business and sales teams to close deals efficiently while mitigating legal risk

Legal Advisory & Risk Management

  • Provide actionable legal advice on regulatory compliance and business operations
  • Proactively identify legal risks and suggest practical solutions

Regulatory Compliance

  • Keep abreast of changes in laws affecting fintech, telecom, data privacy, and employment
  • Help interpret regulatory updates and revise internal policies as needed

Policy Development & Documentation

  • Assist in drafting and maintaining internal legal policies, SOPs, and contract templates
  • Ensure documentation is version-controlled and accessible

Contract Lifecycle Management

  • Manage the central contract repository
  • Oversee renewals, track obligations, and ensure closure

Legal Coordination & Litigation Support

  • Coordinate with external legal counsel on litigation, intellectual property, and compliance issues
  • Support internal audits, investigations, and other legal reviews
Candidate Requirements
  • Law degree with 5-8 years of experience in corporate legal roles
  • Prior experience in SaaS, BPO, or tech-driven sectors is preferred
  • Strong command of Indian contract law, employment law, and IT/DPDP regulations
  • Proven experience in contract negotiation and legal operations
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills
