Legal Intern - Corporate Law & Compliance (Dolat Capital)

Role Overview

Dolat Capital is seeking a motivated Legal Intern to support our legal and compliance functions. The role involves contract management, regulatory compliance, litigation support, and legal research, ensuring that business operations align with applicable laws and internal policies.

Key Responsibilities Contract Management

• Draft, review, and negotiate service contracts, vendor agreements, NDAs, and other commercial documents.
• Ensure all contractual terms comply with company policies and legal requirements.

Regulatory Compliance

• Track updates in corporate, labor, and data protection laws to maintain organizational compliance.
• Assist in filing statutory reports and managing regulatory documentation.

Litigation Support

• Coordinate with external legal counsel for ongoing litigation matters.
• Prepare case briefs, manage legal documentation, and assist with filing pleadings, affidavits, and responses.

Legal Advisory & Research

• Conduct legal research on corporate law, regulatory changes, and judicial precedents.
• Provide actionable legal advice to support business operations and strategic decisions.

Internal Collaboration

• Work closely with HR, Finance, and Operations to advise on employee relations, governance, and policy matters.

Risk & Audit Management

• Support legal audits to identify compliance gaps and legal risks.
• Recommend improvements for compliance procedures and risk mitigation frameworks.

Training & Documentation

• Assist in conducting internal training on key legal topics.
• Maintain and update the company's central repository of legal documents.
