Legal Executive - Corporate, Retail & Compliance Law Specialist

About the Role

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Legal Executive to join our legal department. The ideal candidate will be responsible for supporting daily legal operations, drafting legal documents, liaising with external counsels, managing legal records, and ensuring compliance with all applicable regulations and laws.

Key Requirements

• 3-5 years of experience in a corporate legal team or law firm (fundraising experience is a plus)

• In-depth knowledge of e-commerce, retail, intellectual property, FSSAI laws, and general corporate legal procedures

• Strong legal drafting abilities with excellent communication skills

• Proficient in English and other regional languages (written and verbal)

• Exceptional time management and multitasking capabilities

• Strong analytical thinking and understanding of external factors influencing business

• Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills to effectively communicate across departments

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with internal teams to provide timely and accurate legal advice across a wide range of matters

• Advise on legal risks, contract requirements, and offer strategic input on risk mitigation

• Coordinate and negotiate with external stakeholders, such as regulatory bodies, authorities, and external counsel

• Draft, review, and approve legal agreements, ensuring protection of company interests

• Act as the primary legal point of contact for internal departments regarding compliance, due diligence, and contractual matters

• Stay up to date with legal changes across operational jurisdictions and help design internal training and implementation strategies
