EMEA Recruitment is proud to partner with a dynamic and rapidly growing organization seeking a Legal Counsel - Compliance professional.

This role offers the chance to play a key part in designing and implementing Compliance programs that support the company's ambitious growth plans.

The successful candidate will bring a proactive approach, strong communication skills, and a solid understanding of Compliance frameworks, helping to ensure the business meets regulatory requirements while driving continuous improvement.

The main duties of the Legal Counsel - Compliance:

  • Support the design and implementation of the global Compliance program in collaboration with the Head of Compliance
  • Work closely with regional and country Lawyers to assist in the local and regional execution of Compliance initiatives
  • Monitor and report on Compliance metrics, ensuring accurate data collection and analysis
  • Conduct or support internal investigations related to Compliance matters as needed
  • Stay informed of relevant Legal and regulatory changes, advising the business and adjusting Compliance practices accordingly
  • Provide practical Compliance guidance across various areas including anti-bribery and whistleblowing processes
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to embed Compliance standards throughout the organization

The skills required for the Legal Counsel - Compliance:

  • Legal qualification or equivalent Legal training preferred
  • 3-6 years' PQE in Legal Counsel or related roles
  • Strong understanding of Compliance programs, anti-bribery, and regulatory requirements
  • Experience with internal investigations is a plus
  • Ability to work collaboratively with regional and country Legal teams
  • Proficient in Compliance reporting and metrics management
  • Fluent in English - additional languages are an advantage
