Job Description
Responsibilities
  • Ensure confidentiality and security of company documentation and information.
  • Attend compliance meetings; take minutes/notes and circulate.
  • Review and negotiate various contracts.
  • Advise internal clients about risks associated with different contracts.
  • Assist the General Counsel for Europe with compliance and risk management activities.
  • Liaise with third parties to arrange notarisation and apostille of documents.
  • Arrange execution of documents electronically and by wet signature.
  • Ensure matter records are made and maintained in line with company procedures (including the company developed contract management system).
  • Assist with management of internal filings, systems and records.
  • Manage files diligently and review them regularly.
  • Ensure compliance with internal policies and procedures, ethical standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Maintain regular contact with internal clients and keep them informed at all times.
  • Deal promptly with all internal client enquiries and correspondence.
  • Maintain effective communication with colleagues across the company as required.
Qualifications
  • Minimum of two or three years PQE in one or more of product regulation, employment, data protection, import and export compliance, international trade and sanctions.
  • Experience in commercial law and EU public procurement regulations, with strong technical ability to review, negotiate and draft contracts (ideal but not essential).
  • Willingness to learn and undertake tasks if not experienced in those areas.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Excellent negotiation skills.
  • Exceptional attention to detail.
  • Fluent in English.
  • Ability to speak, read and write one or more of French, German, Italian, Hebrew or Japanese (ideal but not essential).
  • Compliance with professional training requirements (CPD).

Individual pay is determined based on location, experience, skills, job related knowledge, education, certifications and training. In addition to base salary, a comprehensive benefits package and eligibility for bonus plans and long term incentives apply to certain roles.
