Responsibilities

• Support the commercial contracting team by drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contracts with suppliers and partners.
• Advisory on consumer law, privacy, and commercial contract matters to ensure legal compliance across the company.
• Identify and mitigate legal risks, including monitoring regulatory changes and new e waste legislation.
• Represent Coolblue in court, either solo or with external counsel, to manage legal disputes and enforce contractual rights.
• Collaborate closely with Legal, Procurement, and Coolblue Energie teams to improve legal processes and document quality.

Qualifications

• University level law degree (WO) and a minimum of 2 years experience as a corporate or public legal counsel.
• Proven experience in commercial contracting and dispute resolution.
• Strong analytical skills, detail orientation, and the ability to work calmly under pressure.
• Excellent communication skills and stakeholder management capabilities.
• Flexibility, solution oriented approach, and the ability to handle complex legal matters.
• Bonus: Experience in privacy law and a genuine interest in the topic.
• Fluency in Dutch and English.
• Preferred working hours: 40 hours per week, 32 hours also negotiable.
