  • Education: Successfully completed apprenticeship or a comparable international qualification.
  • Professional experience: At least three years' experience as a paralegal in a law firm or as a legal assistant in a company.
  • International expertise: Experience in an international environment is an advantage.
  • Language skills: English language skills are a must; additional language skills are an advantage.
  • IT skills: Confident handling of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Personality: Discretion, professionalism, and a team-oriented approach.
  • Working style: Independent, structured, proactive, with a high degree of accuracy.

Company Overview: STRABAG - More than just a construction company. CML Construction Services Limited, part of STRABAG UK Limited, is looking to appoint an experienced Legal Assistant to join their team in London.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Office management to ensure smooth daily routines in an international environment.
  • Professional communication and correspondence in German and English.
  • Structured document management, digital filing, and maintenance of legal documents using specialized legal software.
  • Monitoring deadlines and coordinating appointments, meetings, and discussions.
  • Supporting legal and contract management teams administratively and organizationally.
  • Planning and organizing meetings, negotiations, and events, including international travel arrangements.
  • Acting as a key contact between senior management and internal/external stakeholders.
  • Managing communications for the Legal and Contract Management teams, including internal group communications.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and IT activities, including preparing presentations and reports.
  • Drafting, reviewing, and proofreading documents for accuracy and formatting.
  • Creating and maintaining filing systems, both paper and electronic.
  • Handling financial duties such as processing invoices.
  • Upholding confidentiality and respecting sensitivities.
  • Managing stationery and equipment supplies.
  • Performing other tasks as assigned by the Legal and Contract Management teams.
