We're partnering with a fast-growing, forward-thinking Meta 2 investment firm that's redefining how traditional finance and crypto intersect. With dual regulation under MiFID II and MiCAR, this firm is operating at the forefront of a transformative era-and they're looking for a Legal & Regulatory Counsel to join their team in Amsterdam.
This is more than a legal advisory role. It's a chance to be a strategic partner at a pivotal time in the company's journey. With the General Counsel stepping up and only one corporate finance lawyer currently in place, you'll be building core legal infrastructure and advising directly on licensing frameworks, new product launches, and cross-border regulatory strategy.
You'll collaborate closely with product, finance, and compliance teams, providing legal guidance in a fast-evolving regulatory environment. Whether it's structuring around MiFID II, tackling MiCAR implications, or navigating new markets, your work will directly impact the firm's growth trajectory.

Location: Amsterdam (Hybrid - super flexible)
️ Focus: MiFID II, MiCAR, crypto/fintech regulation, product structuring
You are: a European qualified lawyer with strong regulatory experience in financial services with solid working knowledge of MiFID II gained from a traditional financial services organisation, FinTech and/or or a law firm and a passion for navigating uncharted legal territory. Fluency in English is a prerequisite, and bonus points for additional European languages such as Dutch, German or Italian.
