Sharp Consultancy are delighted to be working with a well-established business based in Bakewell as they look to recruit an experienced Ledger Clerk on a short-term temporary basis.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an immediately available finance professional seeking either full-time or part-time hours, with flexibility available to suit the successful candidate.
The role will support the finance team with a range of transactional accounting duties, including purchase ledger, sales ledger and general accounts administration. The business is looking for someone who can quickly adapt, work accurately and provide valuable support during a busy period.
Key responsibilities will include:- Processing purchase and sales ledger invoices
- Reconciling supplier statements
- Assisting with payment runs
- Allocating cash and resolving account queries
- Supporting the wider finance team with ad hoc administrative duties
- Previous experience within a ledger or accounts assistant position
- Strong attention to detail and good organisational skills
- The ability to work independently and manage workloads effectively
- Good systems knowledge, including Excel
