Job Description

Lecturer/Senior Lecturer - Ship and Offshore Structures (825367)

FTE: 1 (35 hours/week)

Contract type: Open Contract

Department: Naval Architecture, Ocean and Marine Engineering (NAOME)

Responsibilities

Support research commitments in ship and offshore structures.
Engage in knowledge exchange activities.
Teach courses at university level, both in Glasgow and overseas.

Qualifications

PhD (or equivalent) in Naval Architecture, Marine Engineering or a related discipline.
Strong track record of published research in high quality publications commensurate with career stage.
Teaching experience at all levels.
Research interests consistent with the department's strategic direction.
Excellent communication skills and commitment to excellence in teaching.
